How
You Can Know God Better

1.
Read the Bible every day. The Bible is
God's words for us. It teaches us how to live.
Did you know there are special versions of the Bible
for the Deaf? One good print version is: the Easy-to-Read
Version. You can read the ERV on-line at http://studylight.org.
You can also see Deaf people explain God in your
own language with the ASL
Bible! Check out Deaf
Missions to see the ASL New Testament free.
They also have daily devotions in print and ASL
video free on-line.
2. Pray every day. Prayer means
talking to Jesus. Did you know that God knows every
language, even sign language? He is the Perfect
Communicator and wants to communicate with you.
Know that God always understands you and wants to
talk to you, too. He will "talk" to your heart.
3. Worship with other Christians. Look
for a good church near you that preaches the
Bible. Churches help us grow and let us serve God
in a group. If you live in the Springfield, IL
area, feel free to visit DCC. We would love to

4. Tell other people about Jesus changing
your life. Your family, friends, and co-workers
need to know Him, too. Jesus told us to go to the
whole world teaching about Him! (Matthew 28:19) |
